Nike decided to retro Air Max 1 for the first time in 1992, but the design was changed to some degree. The midsole and outsole were taken from the Air Max 3 (now "Nike Air Max 90"). All the retro models of the Air Max 1 released from 1992 were leather, but nylon retro's released in 1995, then another change in 1996. Nike had made the famous swoosh logo on the side smaller.
